It seems to me that you probably shouldn't tell a guy you like that you could take him in a fight. Because if he replies, ". . . yeah, actually, you probably could," then it's just awkward for everyone.

Yes, that really happened.

Before that, I met a girl at a party that I really liked, but then said guy (who was my ride) had to pass out before she and I got beyond conversation. So that sucked for me. She and I had a great conversation, but . . . goddamn it. I'm still kind of pissed.

I guess I'd have options if I didn't have this bad habit of fucking myself over.

In other news, had absolutely no time to work on my novel for over a week (to the point where I was probably only at home for about 10 hours in 3 days) and so I guess that's more or less dead at this point. It wasn't really going anywhere anyway, so it's not like I'm overly heartbroken. I am now writing scripts with a partner, however, and those are turning out well. I guess we'll see.

Ellie, props to you.

I wonder how you are doing this summer. I hope you are having fun. And hopefully, have a little time to write too.

I've actually, been working on a script. But mainly its someone else's. I'm trying to learn. But I have a feeling he'll be slapping my fingers soon.

Hope you are doing well.
