I asked Marlene when I was supposed to sidle over to him in a particular scene, and she told me to trust my instincts. "When it feels right," she said, "go for it." "Okay," I said, not terribly sold on my instincts, "but when is that?" "You guys need to make that connection," she said. "When you sense his pain, you need to go over there." "I can't read his aura," I said seriously, but I was kidding. "What?" "I said I can't read his aura." "READ IT," Steven said humorously, texting.
