I met this girl at a party a few months ago and she is the single most interesting person I've ever met. We went away outside down the street and sat on the curb and smoked. The hosts thought we were getting stoned but we only had Marlboros. We talked about everything . . . and she was just the most fabulous, brilliant, crazy, honest, fucked-up, sane person I've ever met. I've never encountered anyone else like her. I haven't seen her since, but I wish I could talk to her right now. I wish I could just see her. She understood. She really did. She understood everything. She transcended.

She was the only person I've ever shared cigarettes with.
